What if I told you that you’re self-belief is the biggest thing getting in the way of your progress?
You’d be amazed at how many people don’t try things because they’re scared they’ll fail.
Evie’s key worker at pre-school told me her favourite thing to do at the moment is to run around the playground shouting at the top of her voice.
I love that.
She has no inhibitions. No fear of judgement. No fear of failure.
That’s how we learn.
As we grow older, we let that fear take hold. Self-confidence gets smothered by self-doubt and we become our own biggest obstacles.
I’m terrible for it…But sometimes you just need to take the leap.
You’d be blown away by what you can achieve if you just challenge yourself.
It might not be comfortable and it might be a little bit scary, but the rewards are are all the sweeter for it.
My challenge to you this week: Push those feelings of self-doubt to one side, set yourself a goal and see what happens.
Find your playground, stake your claim and yell at the top of your voice.
Be more like Evie.
